The history of furnipart can be traced back to 1977, in which Lars Ole Hansen acquired the export department of Ludvig M. Larsen, where he used to work, and started as a self-employed seller in the international furniture industry. At that time, the handles were made of wood, such as teak, oak and beech, mainly by Danske Trvarefabrikker.

Over time, Lars Ole Hansen saw the potential of developing the company's own series of handles-this situation was further exacerbated when Denmark's first customer HTH asked for cooperation in 1985. As early as the 1980s, furnipart began to design its own series with materials such as plastic and metal.

50% of the company's 150 million turnover is expected to increase to 160 million within this fiscal year, of which 20% comes from sales in the kitchen industry, 20% comes from sales to the bathroom industry, and the remaining 30% comes from direct sales of accessories distributors

Furnipart is now the leading brand of European cabinet handles. The top 20 cabinet brands in the world are all furnipart customers. The company also has sales offices in Germany, France, Spain and Australia.
